When I say one of my interests is brains, I don't really mean I like people with brains (though I like them, too). What I mean is that fun squishy mass of neurons that resides comfortably inside your skull. Yes, you too have a brain that I want to play with. Unfortunately, I don't actually crack open many skulls, or even poke at neural tissue someone else has harvested. I do things from the outside that make your brain more fun on the inside! Yay! Right now, as I type this (and momentarily ignore the piles and piles of reading material I really ought to get through before a meeting in three days) I am working on getting a masters degree in cognitive psychology.

Now, before you lay down on my black leather yellow velour couch and tell me about your feelings about your mother, let me tell you that I am NOT, nor will I EVER be a clinician! I'm a researcher! I don't even research that psychopathology stuff. Really, I might nod my head and make sympathetic noises occasionally as you pour your heart out, but really I'm thinking about the code I need to write to make my thesis work. It's not worth your time, trust me! Find a therapist if you have issues. I'll just give you more.

I could go on forever about the research I'm involved in, but I'll save it for another time. Other things to know about me are that I'm unfailingly sarcastic and cynical. If you hear me saying something serious, doubt it, it's not normal for me. You might consider calling the authorities, because surely there are swine soaring through the clear blue yonder somewhere. Also I tend to exagerate just a teensy little bit. On the rare occasion, I'll even spin a tale that's a bit tall. Now, just see if you can figure out what parts of that are truthful and which ones aren't. Muahahaha!
